Jeff Bezos announced today he would shut down Amazon from October 17, 2020, through November 3, 2020, allowing the USPS to better handle the early vote by mail ballots so that all citizens have a chance to vote safely and for their votes to be counted.

Inspired by his ex-wife’s donation of nearly $600 million to racial equity causes and other charities, he also announced he would pay his employees their salaries plus $800 a week and improve work conditions in his mega factories when they reopen in November.
