an open letter to Tony Stumblepine

medium.coma is a fonzi scheme:

it’s fun. it’s enlightening. it’s a great connection with writers from all over the world,

but

a lot of your writers don’t get paid for their writing. you know who they are and where they live.

alan asnen was banned. because a troll provoked him? this is on EV’s team prior to your coronation. but some one somewhere knows the reason. he mentored 150 women and minority writers. daily. imho, alan was a thorn in staff’s side, and they were looking for an excuse to ban him.

did you notice ASG’s account disappeared at about the same time? a talented poet who alan mentored. why would she leave? she was very well received. poetry on this platform is one of your most popular topics.

here’s my poem: (poetry is not my forte)

you put a yellow star by member’s names.

what if some one wanted a heart instead?

or a horseshoe,

a clover or the moon?

some might want a pot of gold

or maybe a yummy pink balloon

while EV and elon head for the moon.

the tipping jar? this is redundant. some writers have kofi funds, because it’s the only way they can get paid. some have it to collect extra moolah. seems unfair, but, hey, it’s an on-line ‘free press’. are there still writers who get paid even though they are not paying members?

i miss playing tag with me friends. it used to be in the bell notifications. . .”so and so mentioned you.” it’s gone. did you replace it with “so and so also highlighted”?

or is there a glitch in the matrix?

you purged bots and a few trolls. they’ll be back. they always come back. it would have been nice to have a heads up for the new writers who were unaware of the yearly purge.

so, mr. Tony Stubblebine, the new guy in charge. you got some ‘splaining to do.’ or not.

did you notice my foto is blurry? i’ve heard only high-quality fotos are allowed on medium.coma.

why did you get rid of the header? it was the best way to touch bases with our favorite writers, the ones who encourage us, who make us laugh, who we learn from.

yeah, i know, it’s bad grammar to end a sentence with a preposition, but.
